1. Open http://elpub.bib.uni-wuppertal.de/edocs/dokumente/fbd/bauingenieurwesen/diss2007/groneck/dd0703.pdf in kpdf
2. Go to page 142
-> kpdf doesn't display this (and the following) page(s), produces a very high cpu load and doesn't exit if you close the window, you have to kill the process.
KGhostView displays the vector graphics on these pages correctly.

It's not hanged, it is just slow, give it a day or two and it will finish rendering.
