Description Peter Magdina 2008-02-21 14:00:12 UTC
Version: 1.80 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

I am missing a "Retry" action in "Directory not exist" error popup window.
I often work with data on network disks and sometimes the connection gets lost.

When I close krusader and later afterwards I open it and disks are not accessible, I get an error dailog just informing me that directory does not exist with OK button.
I don't want to lose my working directory.
I recreate a connection and would like to press "Retry" and continue to work.

I surely miss nearly the same thing and suggest an option to control the behaviour of Krusader when the dir does not exist.

the suggested options:

ON START: WHEN DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST
                - show the option to retry the lost connection
                - automatically switch to the home directory

thank you

As no developer cares or has no time for this "wish", I have created a patch
which adds "Retry" capability to Krusader's "Directory not exist" error popup window.

If developers would add it to the official code many people would appreciate that.

Fixed a long time ago. Error message is shown and "Reload" button is in toolbar.
