Description Stefan Hinz 2008-02-20 16:41:58 UTC
Version: 0.1 (using 3.5.7 "release 72.6" , openSUSE 10.3)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.16-0.2-default

In the KDE control bar I have a button that starts kjobviewer. That's handy for seeing my print jobs, but it bugs me that I can't save the settings. Normally, I'm interesting in just one question, "have I printed that page before?". For that, I have to click the "show completed jobs" button, then click on "job ID" to see the last job first in the list. Not a big thing but I'd appreciate if kjobviewer would store my settings.

KDEPrint in KDE3 is unmaintained and will have no more new features
implemented. This request will never be implemented in KDEPrint as a result.

In KDE4 kjobviewer has been replaced by printer-applet which uses
system-config-printer as a backend.

printer-applet does not support sorting at all. A separate feature request will be raised for this which will include persistance.

Closing.
