Version:           0.12.5 (using 3.5.7, compiled sources)
Compiler:          Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.18-laptop-1mdv

when i try to log into msn messenger and aim it won't let me log in.... it pop up that something crashed.... i don't know what's going on?

Does this problem still exist with a more recent version? If so, can you paste the backtrace from the crash dialog. See http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports .

We've completely replaced the current MSN implementation with a new MSN
implementation. If you continue to experience this bug after testing the
new implementation (which can be gotten from our subversion repository or with
the KDE 4.2 Beta 1 release), PLEASE, open a new bug rather than reopening this
bug. Thank you for your time and efforting in helping us find and fix problems
in Kopete.
