To solve it you have to delete ~/.kde4 directory because KDE can't start well. It shouldn't happen. Could you try to test this behaviour on 4.0.2 or from SVN? thanks. It doesn't happen with KDE 4.0.2 ---- closed |
Version: (using KDE 4.0.1) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux I had installed openoffice on my computer. Then I've removed it and replaced it with koffice2 available on Debian testing repositories. When I tried to open a .doc file, dolphin said that openoffice.org-writer didn't exist, but i could open it with another program with the right-clik menu. I remove the writer association in systemsetiings. Then when I open kde applications such as dolphin, konqueror, systemsettings, plasma all of them crashes.
