Version:           0.50.1 (using 4.0.1 (KDE 4.0.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

I've installed kde4 packages in ubuntu and kopete 0.50 and i'm trying to use it to transfer files. i haven't started any other plugins or so, i just use the standard configuration (except themes...). when I receive files through yahoo, there's no problem, unlike the former kopete i had (0.12). but, also unlike kopete 0.12, i cannot send files. it just pops up a window (copying...) and the transfer never starts. It's weird, because i could send files in kopete 0.12 and i can't do the same now... I'd like it more if i could send&receive files through yahoo...

This works fine for me under r918514 kopete, which is .70.50, or a post-4.2 trunk version. I suspect you'll find this works under 4.2. At any event, it seems fixed in trunk.
