As krdc's interface is not exactly lean (allthough I like it) it's difficult to select a screen resolution that fits the available "viewport" area. There could be an option in addition to the standard resolutions to fit the visible area of krdc's window.

Say you have a 1200x900 program window (as oposed to screen resolution). Asuming that the krdc's interface takes lets say 200 pixel vertical and 20 horizontally with a given theme and options (show or not menu,...) there should be one option along the line:
"Fit window (1180x700)".

krdc kde3 had this feature.
