Konqueror in 4.0.1 scrolls some pages much slower than the 3.5 version. For instance, slashdot (http://slashdot.org) is nearly unbearable to use on an Athlon 64 X2 5200+.

It works perfectly fine in 3.5 as well as in firefox, but in 4.0.1, scrolling the page takes a very noticeable fraction of a second.

I can't reproduce the slowness in trunk rev. 818792. Do you still reproduce it in a recent version?
