The title basically says it all. I think if you hide the menu bar and you opened another instance of konqueror the menu bar should stay hidden. 

If you hide the menu bar in dophin the menu bar is hidden when you log off or restart dolphin. I think this behaviour should be consistent in all applications.

This is solved in KDE 4.2 Beta 2 and I think this can be closed
