Version:           4.0.1 (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

Go to configuration of Icon widget on Desktop or panel.
Switch to "Preview" tab 
Window hangs in few seconds and then plasma crashes.

I think "Preview" tab not needed in Icon configuration dialog. What it can preview us if we already see icon that configure ?! :)

it's part of the standard preview dialog, and was fixed in trunk.

I am running KDE 4.1.1 from Ubuntu packages, and see this exact same behavior, both for icons added to the panel, for icons on the desktop.
