Description Miikka Salminen 2008-02-09 12:43:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I have two displays and Firefox maximized on the left one (the secondary display). It's on desktop one. Changing between (empty) desktops two and three shows briefly flashes of the Firefox on desktop one.

The flashes move very quickly diagonally at the upper left corner of the left display and the direction is from right to left when changing from desktop 3 to desktop 2 and from left to right when changing from desktop 2 to desktop 3.

I have compositing enabled.

I think the flashy animations should only show windows of the desktops which the change between occurs.

Is this just the fact that you have 2x2 desktop grid and therefore going from 2 to 3 means moving over parts of 1 and 4 for a while?

This is the normal behavior of desktop grid, not a bug.

Feature.
