Description christopher v 2008-02-09 11:57:20 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

There is no standard program available to open archive files. If i click on a plasmoid icon on my desktop which is a .zip file (for example) then it doesn't open with a standard program. I have to search for myself a program to open this with. In KDE 3 it used to open with a program and unrar then unzipped the files and copied them somewhere i wanted.

thx

Chris

The default archive manager is ark.
Actually the RAR support is missing. Anyway if you click to a .zip file on the desktop or in the dolphin part, ark, the default application, is started (if installed).
