how to reproduce the crash : 

open dolphin (in a folder with a lot of subfolders)
click View->'Adjust View Properties'
click "Show preview"
click "Current folder including all subfolders"
click "OK"

"The view properties of all sub folders will be changed. Do you want to continue?"

click "Yes"

A dialog appears 'Couting folders...'

click "Cancel"
