Version:           4.0.1 (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          gcc 4.1.2 
OS:                Linux

Using gobolinux, all the files in /usr/share/kde4/ are symlinks to the actual location (/Programs/KDE-Base/4.0.1/Share for example)

kbuildsycoca4 does not read these symlinks causing everything to break. 
KDEDModule can't be found, knotify4.desktop can't be found, everything is broken.

After making these real files, those errors disappear.
