Damn, this is obviously a wish, not a bug. I am not sure it's a good idea. This feature have the problem of throwing out all thumbnails, not only image thumbnails. That's not very user friendly. At least it would be nice if it deleted the thumbnails for that gwenview session, but I'd rather it deleted them all. For example in devices like the eee pc, you have very little "disk" space, and when you are browsing photos on usb devices very quickly you are wasting a lot of space, and in many cases you close gwenview and unplug the device, so the thumbnails become orphaned. I don't see the problem of being not user-friendly here, if it would only be a configuration option |
