kopet can not connecting to msn !!

username(s) and its password(s) is OK , but kopet ask for the Password !.

does your password have any non latin1 characters in it? MSN in general seems to have issues handling some non alphabetical passwords.

Saw it in Kopete BugDay2 that this needs clarification. Sometimes something similar happens to me when I have slow connection. Usually I get disconnected and Kopete tries to reconnect. During reconnect it asks for password but I know that the password is not the problem, it is a problem contacting the server.

Kopete 0.50.80
Using Debian experimental package (4.0.98)

My Password including @ and .
when I remove them by changing password it work !

I cannot reproduce this by changing my password to end at @@ or .. in KDE 4.0.99.

password set to @secret. and .secret@ login works with both. Tested with kopete svn trunk r835161.
