Could you please describe what you mean with "tab"? Do you mean the left and right view after doing a "split view"? If 'yes' this request would interfer with using the mousewheel (= netscroll?) to scroll within a view itself... Created attachment 23426 [details] Petition mockup for the bugs #157067 and #157068 This is a mockup of my two feature requests for Dolphin (for this bug and for the bug #157067: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157067) Thanks for the mockup! I've set #157067 to the state "NEW" as "wishlist" item. For this bug report (#157068), the feature cannot be implemented as the scrollwheel is already assigned for scrolling within the items of a view (e. g. please try to use the wheel for in views with a lot of items). OK, It is true. Would it be possible to do it in Dolphin's URL bars? > Would it be possible to do it in Dolphin's URL bars?
Technically yes, but I don't see the need for this: where is the benefit to put the mouse over the (quite small) URL bar and use the (tricky) scrollwheel when instead just a mouseclick on the unfocused view is enough?
I think that is more more comfortable usr mousewheel instead to do click with the mouse. It is only my opinion. Perhaps it is because I am customary to change in the same way between tabs in Konqueror. A greeting and thank you anyway. : -) Excuse me: I think that is more comfortable use the mousewheel instead to do click with the mouse. It is only my opinion.
