Description Sébastien Lamy 2008-01-26 11:07:23 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When my computer starts, sometimes I have a message saying me
"DCOP server is willing to access kdewallet, authorize?".

I don't remember what happen if I accept
But If I refuse or wait too long, then kopete is not able to connect (clicking connect or disconnect then connect again will do nothing), I have to restart it and it connects fine. I'm using exclusively the jabber protocol.

I believe this is fixed in KDE 4.1 trunk. If it is possible for you to get this, test it, and tell us what happened, that would be great.
Comment 2 Matt Rogers 2008-01-30 06:39:33 UTC
this isn't fixed in trunk. i've had it happen to me if i get distracted while initially starting kopete.

I assume this is fixed in trunk. At least DBus calls to the wallet can no longer timeout. Can you confirm this is gone?
Comment 4 Matt Rogers 2009-03-29 03:16:56 UTC
I can now confirm this is gone. Closing.
