Description Juan Garcia 2008-01-25 19:31:07 UTC
Version: 2.2.4 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When opening a torrent file in which name there is a multibyte character Ktorrent gives an error and cannot open it. The torrent can be renamed, but the files inside it no.
So if the files contain a character like ñ, or ú, ... very common in Spanish language, that torrent cannot be opened.

Example of error message:

Cannot symlink /C/Linux/.kde/tor125/cache/Audiolibro Mp3-Alberto Vazquez Figueroa-El Señor de las tinieblas.rar to /home/jgarciad/Pack.10.audiolibros.A.V.Figueroa[www.todoCVCD.com]/Audiolibro Mp3-Alberto Vazquez Figueroa-El Señor de las tinieblas.rar: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character

Another Torrent Example

Just attached a couple of examples.

Error messages refer to the name of the torrent, and also to the files
contained in the torrent.

Both of these torrent work without problems here

Seeing that this cannot be reproduced with the latest version, I'm gonna close this bug.
