Confirmed (with the enterprise branch and with trunk). Happens only when using fixed font and when using a separate reader window. Here the missing compiler informations given by "report a bug": KDE Version 1.9.6 (enterprise 0.20070907.709405) (KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1) 1 Application E-Mail Client 1 Operating System Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22-14-generic 1 Compiler Target: x86_64-linux-gnu I want to emphasize that the error occures both in preview and separate Window. I have kde4 parallel installed. Am Samstag, 26. Januar 2008 18:24:42 schrieb Thomas McGuire: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] Not reproducible on current trunk r947715. Works fine in kmail 1.11.2 (KDE4.2.2), so I'm closing this bug. Reopening, this still does not work when using a fixed font. It works if you set the correct font: When using fixed width display, you need to change the fixed width font. The message body font in this case will only change the headers. > The message body font in this case will only change the headers.
Well that is exactly the bug.
The font size combobox should change the size of the body text, and not of the headers.
Or ideally, it would change both, like Ctrl+Mousewheel does, so it might be better to have shrink/enlarge font buttons there, instead of the two comboboxes.
Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
