Crash log (with debugging symbols)
I can confirm this with KDE4.0.3 on Ubuntu Hardy.
I have a Nvidia card, using the latest binary drivers installed via EnvyNG.
I'd give you the exact model but Hardware Information crashes too ;)
KRandrTray starts fine, although I haven't tried actually using it.
It doesn't do this anymore in 4.1. 2.6.25-gentoo-r7 #1 SMP Sun Aug 24 21:26:57 CEST 2008 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux Nvidia 8400 Mobile If xinerma is enabled in xorg.conf it crashes if i start systemsettings->display Even xrandr is not loaded correct. So i get the error that xranr extensoin is not loaded if wanna use xbacklight or something that use the xranr. Without xinerama disablde systemsettings->display and also xrandr works fine. Is it a nvidia, xorg or kde Bug? Closing based on comment #3 |
