this is in kwin4, actually. changing components. i hope this is the right sub-component... =) And its a duplicate, though I don't quite understand why it doesn't work. Worked for me last time I tried it due to the workaround that was added before 4.0.0 release. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 153211 *** This is not a duplicate of bug 153211. My keyboard works fine after pressing alt+shift+tab. It just does not reverse through the alt tab 'box switch'er. Hmm, ok. It works for me though and always did since sometime before christmas. First thing you should check is wether the shortcut is actually set in the systemsettings dialog (under keyboard & mouse, IIRC). I went to double check the default binding as you suggested and my kde4 session failed to load so i just deleted ~/.kde4 and now it loaded with the new defaults. Upon doing this, the box switcher now works properly. Don't know anymore than that and the fact that I have not changed any key bindings in kde4. So your guess is as good as mine. On a side note, I noticed that I am unable to change any bindings, so now I'm off to look for a report on that. |
