Sentry Crash Report:

Description Alec Munro 2008-01-22 21:08:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.1.1
OS: Linux

Under "System Settings" > "Display", any changes made in "size & orientation" can't be applied. I can change things, but the apply button remains grayed out.
Comment 1 FiNeX 2008-01-23 11:05:00 UTC
In KDE4 kcontrol is replaced by systemsettings.
Comment 2 Alec Munro 2008-01-23 13:06:48 UTC
Yeah, I suspected kcontrol wasn't where this should go. Unfortunately, I made the assumption that it filtered the application list based on my version of KDE. Any way to move it, or should I mark it as resolved and re-file?
Comment 3 Pascal Maillard 2008-01-23 16:55:59 UTC
I experience the same problem
Comment 4 David Filiatrault 2008-03-07 17:06:06 UTC
Same problem with kde 4.0.2 from the kubuntu-kde4 in 8.04 Hardy Alpha6 release from last night.
Comment 5 Pascal d'Hermilly 2008-03-31 07:31:30 UTC
I confirm this problem also.
Using Kubuntu 8.04 packages.
Comment 6 Joseph Tate 2008-04-06 06:48:18 UTC
I have the same problem with a 4.0 branch build from a few days ago. I'm using an Intel graphics chip, "intel" driver in xorg 1.4.0.90.

Xrandr works...except for not permitting 1600x1200 on my TMDS-1.
