I enabled the icons on desktop and the align to grid option. When the icons appear, some icons text were hidden by the desktop panel. It seems the panel area is not been considered when positioning the icons.

Just installed 4.0.3 from ubuntu packages. I can observe the same behavior and therefore i reopen this bug.

Using 4.1.3 I can reproduce the same behavior if I add the calc widget (see screenshot)
