What protocol are you using? Is there any way that we can reproduce this bug? Can you include more info, possibly a screenshot? I am using AIM. I cannot post a screenshot, because it doesn't happen on my end. It happens with people I'm chatting with, they see what I type plus formatting codes. I'm not sure how to reproduce it, sorry. I was just informed yesterday that every message I send has the formatting codes in it. Also, is this an ICQ contact that you're using your AIM screenname to chat with? I only use AIM as of right now, on both ends. I personally don't know anyone that uses ICQ. I am not sure if the blank messages appear on my friends side or not. I've not been told that it was. This same friend is what told me about my other problem. The blank messages are probably just visible on my side. It looks like I pressed space and enter for a blank message, but I didn't type anything when this happens. A buddy could be typing to me and all of a sudden my account posts a message to the window with nothing in it. Matt Rogers wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] Can you still reproduce this?
