Hello, same problem under Mandriva 2008.1. Who can help? Regards Matthias Hello again, some threats later I found the solution: "The Panasonic DMC-TZ3 must be set to "Print mode" via the rotating dial that sits atop the camera in order to be put in PTP mode. Once the camera is set to Print Mode in this way, both digiKam and gphoto2 work splendidly with it." Regards Matthias Yes, "Print mode" does work but it does not display movie files. I have Ubuntu 8.04, GNOME 2.22.2 and KDE 3.5.9. lsusb Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 002 Device 004: ID 04da:2372 Panasonic (Matsushita) Lumix DMC-FZ10 Camera Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 In GNOME I have no problem to use PC mode in camera and to see and download pictures and movies. In KDE in PC mode I am getting error code 50, in PTP mode I can see pictures only. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 150906 *** |
