Description Zayed Al-Saidi 2008-01-18 19:20:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
OS: Linux

Sometimes a picture is better than a single color. I wish an option to set a picture instead color for the windows background in the style option. So I can design a small svg or whatever and then set it as windows background. This option will give a huge push for eye candy in the kde. You can expand this idea for title bar and button background as well.

I think this is done by Skulpture !

This wish is still valid for KDE (and Skulpture does not fix it either). Reopening.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
