When I select "Show contact photo if exists" in the Settings -> Contact list, not appears any avatar at least for msn and/or yahoo protocols.

And if you restart kopete?

It's the same thing. Both if I close and open again kopete, and if I leave the session and I logged again in KDE with kopete open, the avatars are not present. The same thing if I point the mouse on a contact, the popup is showing everything about the contact but it's present a very small icon near the account ID without any photo.

I think I suffer from same issue. Kopete 0.50.80

Some contacts don't have avatars - KDE4.1 from openSuSE factory repository.
If I go to kopete pref. directory (~/.kde4/share/apps/kopete/avatars/Contacts/{mail}/) I can see blank png images inside instead of avatars (some contacts avatars works fine though).
