Description uli iske 2008-01-15 11:04:26 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

In the dolphin adressbar I enter smb://servername/share

Files and Folders with Umlauts in their names give an Error
File does not exist.

Local Files with Umlauts work fine.

Same problem in gentoo with kde4.1. If i manually mount via mount with locale=de_DE.utf8 or if i connect via smbclient i see the files/dirs with german umlauts. But in dolphin with smb://dm800/eigene_jens i can't see any files/dirs with umlauts and a error message with "File does not exist: smb://dm800/eigene_jens/%C3%BC%C3%A4" apears.

This seems to be the same as Bug 160759 / Bug 159321.
Do you still experience this problem in KDE 4.2?
