Version:            (using KDE KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

On installing Fedora-8 KDE-4 Live CD
<http://www.fedoraforum.de/iso/test/rawhide-KDE4-i686-20080109/rawhide-KDE4-i686-20080109.4.iso>
on the hard disk of a ThinkPad T43, the mouse/cursor freezes.
(In fact it is frozen from the moment it appears in the installation.)

I should have said that the KDE-4 Fedora Live CD
runs perfectly from a USB stick.
The problem only arises after installation on the hard disk.
