Description Verdi March 2008-01-12 18:25:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Using DejaVu Sans, with subpixel enabled (rgba, full), KDE3 and KDE4 rendered fonts differently. Note that the freetype2 used is already compiled with subpixel enabled.

This is related to the QT4 font rendering (different from QT3 rendering). I suppose this should be a wish for QT4 (they're planning to improve this and add lcdfilter support)

QT4.5 will fix this. Should this bug be closed?
