Sentry Crash Report:

Description Patrick Trettenbrein 2008-01-12 11:53:48 UTC
Version: 0.50.0 (using KDE 4.00.00 (KDE 4.0.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22-14-generic

It should be possible (or even default) to group the contacts in the contact list by their online status (all online contacts on top of the list), as the old Kopete in KDE 3 did. That's a quite handy feature, especially if you've got a quite long contact list.

It may be possible that this feature still is somewhere in KDE 4's Kopete and i just wasn't able to figure it out. If so, please let me know where I can find it. :)

Version 0.50.1, shipping with KDE 4.0.1 seems to have this problem resolved (the contact liste behaves as expected again), so I'm closing this bug report.
