Tried myself and I can confirm that. First the plasmoid displays the OpelGL Shader warning (in my case) and after this (I tried to remove the plasmoid) Plasma crashed. Andrei: removal and adding are not the same actions. there is another BR for crash on removal of the blue marble applet. this seems to be talking about a crash immediately on it being added. Sorry. My mistake. Yeah, exactly. This is about a crash immediately on adding the applet. Patrick: the backtrace has no content. please install the -dbg packages for kdebase-workspace and kdelibs and try to reproduce the crash again. you should get a full backtrace at that point, which you can attach to this br. thanks. I've installed the packages, but when installing them Kubuntu also updated some other KDE 4 packages and now I'm not able to reproduce the crash anymore. :) Maybe it was just a temporary problem of Kubuntu and its package management or something like that. |
