When accessing gmail messages by IMAP, kmail does not initially show the HTML part, just the plaintext body part.

When View -> View Source is selected from the menu, the HTML part then shows up.

I have tried this with two different gmail accounts and on 3 differnet installs and it appears completely reproduceable.

Does disabling "Load attachments on demand" in the IMAP account configuration help?
