Description Janet 2008-01-05 14:37:22 UTC
Version: 4.5.8 (using KDE 3.5.8, Debian Package 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-4 (lenny/sid))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.23.12-slh-smp-2

I know we had this bug before... Since KDE 3.5.8 kwrite again refuses to show new lines at the beginning of the text. When the cursor is at the beginning of the text and I press enter to insert new lines before the text nothing seems to happen, the cursor stays where it is and the text doesn't seem to move down. I always have to scroll up to see the new lines to see where I want to write. Expected behaviour: The new line should be visible immediately, the old text should move down visibly.

Confirmed in KDE 3.5.8
