Description Michael Braun 2008-01-04 14:24:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.97.0)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

If you activate the Plasma-Dashboard (Ctrl+F12) and select "Add widget" the Add-Widget dialog is opened but it looks corrupt. You can see what I mean at the attached screenshot.

This is true (I'm not using composite, but the from the screenshot I'm guessing the reporter is). All the widgets are in front of the plasma desktop view, but the dialog background and window decorations are not (I don't know whether they are missing or somehow "behind" the dashboard).

Yes composite is active. ;-)
Comment 4 Aaron J. Seigo 2008-01-05 01:16:44 UTC
SVN commit 757459 by aseigo:

* move tool enabling to hideView() so that all tools to get set up properly even when press Esc, etc
* add a background to the Add Widget in dashboard so it's more obvious it's on its own sheet
