If the history plugin is activated (show e.g. 10 last messages) and you open a chat window, kopete should go to the last and not the first message.

Believed fixed in KDE 4.0.1. Please reopen if you can reproduce with KDE 4.0.1 when it comes out the first part of February or so

I can confirm that in 4.0.98 (kopete 0.50.80) from Debian experimental it is still present. History plugin with "Show history in new chats" activated with default options.

Expected
When opening a new chat should scroll down conversation so I see end of last conversation or new one.

I can confirm what Parada says with KDE 4.1 RC1. I'll reopen the bug.

It needs kdelibs revision 901512 to work correctly.
