Select "Turn off" then it works(!). I think it's a screenbug. yes, i confirm it: Selecting "Turn off" works. Can someone rapidly solve this really simple issue? kde 4.0.1+svn the bug is still there... Still a bug in 4.0.3 Still a bug in 4.0.4. The checkbox indexes has been reordered in the new ui as follows. Checkbox Current index Should be index ----------------------------------------------- Turn on 2 0 Turn off 0 1 Leave unchanged 1 2 *** Bug 162771 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Created attachment 25628 [details]

Committed corrected layout but that does not fix it for me. The led is on but the keys do not work when I set it to NumLock on. See http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-commits&m=121455755422396&w=2 Created attachment 25911 [details]

Just apply this to kdebase-workspace and it corrects issues with numlock being
enabled or disabled at login for KDE.
I've gone ahead and submitted a patch which corrects this issue on my PC-BSD system here. It should fix it for all OS's though :) .. not checked the patch's actual functionality, but TRUE and FALSE are C-isms and should be true and false, respectively. Ahh, sorry about that. Would you like me to resubmit the patch with lower-case true / false? *** Bug 167597 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** now the checkboxes semms to work (WORKSFRME) but leds are not managed consequentially. e.g. I'm on kubuntu hardy and 'turn on' is selected, my num lock led is off, pressing the num lock key lights up the led and switches off the NumLock. Maybe it's something related to my distro or kdm, don't know. It now works for me totally correctly, i'll mark it as WORKSFORME |
