Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.97.0)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

While changing resolution from a lower to higher one, kicker panel stays fixed at it's older postion, ie, it doesn't move according to the resolution of the screen

Are you using kde4 (then plasma), or kde3 (then kicker)?

I'm using, KDE4, to be more precise, KDE4 RC 2 live CD(KDE Four Live)
