An option should be added to the task bar's settings, allowing the user to show/hide windows on other desktops.

Could this be extended?
So that only the apps on the current desktop _and_ the current screen are shown, when in xinerama mode?

So not only per desktop, but per desktop and per screen.

I've seen, that this has been committed to svn, works for me. Thanks.

(The part, that only windows from current desktop show up, of course they still show up on every screen.)

Did so, see bug 156131.

I also recognized a bug, which might have been introduced by this commit, see bug 154741 for that one.

Is this fixed? I can't find any settings for the taskbar when I right-click on it. (KDE4.1)

Sorry about that, I found it after trying to right-click a few times at different places. It is not good enough to right click on top of a "window". One must right-click where the taskbar is empty.
