I attach a USB disk and I get a choice what shall be done. I chose "do nothing" and check "always do this for this kind of media" however, for the next USB disk I get the same question.

Fixed in KDE 4 (device notifier takes over this role), and I can't reproduce with 3.5.9, so closing.

Great! I am no longer bugged with this in KDE 4.
