Version:           0.40.3 (using KDE 3.97.1 (KDE 4.0 >= 20071206), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.9-laptop-1mdv

Kopete should use as Aventare for the DefaultIdentity the UserPics which are set via Systemsettings->"Personal Information" (/opt/kde4/share/apps/kdm/pics/users/) if no Aventare is selected by the user. At the moment you set one UserPics for kopete and one on the Personal Information. I think this is redundant. What do you think?

This is the aventare of kopete. It would be nice if this aventare could be
fetched from the PersonalInformation screen which are set via
systemsettings->PersonalInformation (see Attachment #2 [details])

You can select in the systemsettings a UserPicture. So why shouldn't we use
this picture/aventare also in kopete as default. And only if the user wants, he
could select another one. If this isn't wanted, perhaps you can open in kopete
the same dialog for the aventare as it is used in the
systemsettings->PersonalInformation.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
