Hi, as there's not even a comment I'd like to know what the chances are this one gets fixed without me trying to port this myself? Its really almost the only issue keeping me from using KDE4, which is a shame seeing thats soooo sexy :) There were complaints about the outline in KDE3, which is why I didn't find it a very high priority to port it to KDE4. It'd probably still make sense at least for the Alt+Tab variant for panels which Plasma devs want for 4.2. I'm not sure what you mean with "Alt+Tab variant for panels", however for me this is the only way to identify to which of my 4 open konsole's I'm switching. I know there's support for raising the widgets while switching with alt+tab, but at least on my machine thats far to slow to be usable and it breaks the z-order of my windows (IIRC) How about having this as an option that defaults to off? I was trying to say that the code would be needed for KDE4, and I'd consider it even for normal Alt+Tab, after I see it. *** Bug 165244 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Forgot the BUG keyword, this has been fixed with r942457. |
