Menu entries should be static because, where [X] is understand as ON, [ ] is understand OFF.

Now menu entries text is changed with option settings.
Example, user clicks "settings > [ ] Show Menubar" and there comes X and entry is then "[X] Show Menubar". Text isn't changed because X means it is ON, without X it is "dont show menubar". This is correct way and text is right when right clickin somewhere to get menu back (or pressing ctrl+M)

Now KDE4 brakes this usability by changing entries text with X mark too. Example, "Settings > [ ] Show Terminal Emulator"
And when user clicks that, it turns to be "Settings > [X] Hide Terminal Emulator" And then X indicating WRONG setting and is not needed because entrie already tells user to HIDE it when clicks it by text.

There is big problem by usability because X is meant to mark something and when it's not there, it's off. Now X is marking "Hide Terminal Emulator" so user understand that it is HIDED and not showing. To correct this, there should not be X or text should not be altered.

Right way is:
[ ] Show Terminal Emulator
[X] Show Terminal Emulator

OR

Show Terminal Emulator
Hide Terminal Emulator

Wrong way is:

[ ] Show Terminal Emulator
[X] Hide Terminal Emulator
