Version:           1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45.6" , openSUSE 10.2)
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.7-bigsmp

Kmail does't play sounds in the filter action with a german umlaut in the filename of the soundfile. Also Kmail doenst't play sounds, if the whole path of the soundfile consists of a german umlaut.
