Description Milan Hodoscek 2007-12-11 19:38:22 UTC
Version: svn from dec 11, 2007 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc-4.2.2
OS: Linux

In kalzium versions 3.x oxidation number are listed with each element info along with atomic number and wight. Why is this not the case with version 4 (I am using SVN - december 12, 2007.

The reason is very easy: We are now using the BlueObelisk data repository (see for example [1]) which makes maintenace much easier for us. That dataset simply doesn't contain the information...
If you want you can add that data to the elements.xml-file there and send me the patch (I can tell you how to do this in more detail if you want). I have commit rights for BlueObelisk.
I would do it but don't have the time right now.
