already fixed in svn. I'll wait a litte more but I still got this error on current Suse snapshot (RC2-3.97.00) Don't know if this the same issue, or it was also resolved with the fix, But I was also able to lose "grab" by trying to move a widget through the Add Widgets dialog menu. I still got it even on current SVN Is the issue where the grab is lost when moving through xinerama displays still an issue? Not being able to move it under the "Add widgets" dialog is a Qt limitation which plasma can't do much about. Right now it works fine here, using the latest suse-build. I was to fast on that one. 1) i opened the add widgets dialog 2) added an analog clock And it was perfectly draggable from one screen to the other, and back again, several times. then i 3) Closed the add widgets dialog, repeated steps 1+2, but this time it didn't work. As soon as I stop moving the mouse (ie. the widget stops a short moment), it is "lost" and I need to start dragging it again. And no, i don't releast the left mouse-button. *** Bug has been marked as fixed ***. Please reopen bug. This is reproducible in current KDE 4.0 release. Drag the clock as describe above a bit faster (even on 1 screen). If it still doesn't want to loose grab.. then drag faster. >> This is reproducible in current KDE 4.0 release.
Yeah, but can you reproduce it on current svn? I can't (build yesterday), no matter how fast I drag.
I do get some weird effects when dropping the widgets though.
