Description Will Stephenson 2007-12-10 13:12:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Since there are 5 buttons in a row in this dialog, translations into verbose languages like German cause the dialog to become too wide for most screens. See screenshot at: https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=186521

Original report https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=347092
"When adding a symlink to a K3b data CD project, I get a dialog asking what to
do. It has 5 buttons, enlarging the dialog width so that it doesn't fit on my
1400px wide display. (Sceenshot attached.)

Possible solutions:
- use another layout (for example more than one row to display the buttons)
and/or
- use shorter texts - probably difficult and depends on translators

Note: I see this with the german location. I don't know the dialog size in
other languages.

In an attempt to clean up old bugs that are not valid for K3b 2.0 (=KDE SC 4.x port) anymore, this is now being marked as UNMAINTAINED.
If this bug is still valid for 2.0, please reopen it.
