Plasma::Applet::setFailedToLaunch () looks like you have some binary incompatibilities kicking around. try a clean install of kde4. Aaron- I tried the clean install to no avail. The rpms available at opensuse's build service had not changed since my install. However, I did try and reinstall them. I added another user called 'test1' and logged in with that username and I was able to see a working desktop. Thanks for the suggestion. Aaron J.Seigo wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] clint: if it worked with a new user account, it should also work when you delete plasma-appletsrc and plasmarc from your .kde/share/config/ :) can we close this bugreport? Yes. I was unsure of how to do this or if you developers had to do it. Thanks. Chani wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] ok :) |
