KDE3 konsole hat an option to tell it how many rows and columns the resulting window should have. This works better tha --geometry as one doesn't need to know the used font.

In KDE4 konsole doesn't support that option anymore, would be cool to have it back.

Implementing http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155603 will likely fix this.
